R script for creating animation of earthquakes

This R script will:

• Download a base map of land from Natural Earth
• Download last 30 days of earthquake locations from USGS (United States Geological Survey)
• Create an animation of the locations on a world map
• Save animation as GIF file

The zip file contains the R script and a sample animation.

You will need R (https://www.r-project.org/) to run the script and RStudio (https://posit.co/download/rstudio-desktop/).
